How it all works
Chevron is making it easy for everyone to help public school students in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties through the Fuel Your School promotion:
  1. Teachers submit projects detailing the materials and supplies they need for their classroom projects at DonorsChoose.org. Chevron encourages classroom project requests that support science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) education.
  2. This October, when everyone fills up with 8 gallons or more, Chevron will help fund projects by donating $1 per fill-up, up to $500,000.00, to support eligible classroom projects.
  3. DonorsChoose.org will use Chevron?s donations to fund eligible classroom projects. Once projects are funded, the materials/supplies will be acquired and distributed by DonorsChoose.org and the learning can begin.
  4. Throughout October, everyone can help fund eligible classroom projects in their city by filling up with 8 gallons or more at participating Chevron and Texaco stations.
